I told the seller I'd buy it if there are no issues. I'm hoping it doesn't need more setup work. I'm meeting the seller tomorrow.

Just make sure it's a full (or fully converted) left handed upright. You want to check the location bass bar and the sound post. I've seen basses that were selling as lefties but were actually right handed instruments with only the nut and strings were reversed. The bass bar should run parallel to the strings and be under the E string side of the bridge. The Sound post should be running front to back and under the G string side of the bridge foot. f it's not, it ain 't a lefty!

Thanks.

I've actually owned this same exact make and model. It's a factory lefty. But yes, i will be inspecting the bass bar and soundpost very closely. I might bring a mirror if I can find one.

A mirror or a flashlight will work as well. You should also be able to touch the bass bar with your fingertips through the F hole on the E string side. If you do, you're in business! Best of luck with it man!

Picked it up yesterday. It's been setup well, imo. To my ears, it sounds better than the one I owned previously! Not as stiff as I remember - the notes on this one really blossom well. The one I owned prior to this one had an adjustable bridge, while this one doesn't. I think that certainly can make a difference. I'll be posting some pics, soon.
