Lefty Bass?

Post by Frenchy-Lefty »

I entered "lefty bass" in Ebay and this listing popped up:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ABU-GARCIA-6501-C3- ... 500wt_1156

I guess that's an option...

When I bass fish, I use my lefty reel.

But seriously I do use lefty reels and to me as a "righty" it makes more sense just like playing bass lefty does even if I'm a righty...........in general.

Like my friends are saying, my patchbay is all wrong in my brain LOL

My buddy KC used to write "Bass is a fish!" in random hidden places on my books, notebooks and my locker in high school.

He was really weird.

i have never fished in my life. The closest I get to fishing is opening a package of Mrs. Paul's breaded fish sticks.

I used to do a LOT of salmon fishing with that exact reel. In fact, here's a derby winner that I caught back in '93 or '94 on Vancouver Island. 25 lb chinook salmon. Mmmmmmmmmm... sure was good on the BBQ.

Geez, maybe we should have a fishing section of the board. ;)

Was listening to a show on NPR about overfishing, and they mentioned Chilean bass. It sure tastes good, but. . .

Since we live waaaaaay out in the country, over the years have had folks at the local gas station/ fishing store ask about Spector “basses built for a lifetime” plate on the front of our truck.

Dude, you totally live "waaaaay in the country"!
Personally, since I never miss an opportunity to get someone going, I would make up a story such as "they are mechanical fish build for vegans who want to fish without killing animals" Just to see the face they make.
