Perhaps we should start a Board pool - name the date and selling price, closest guess to the actual selling price and date gets allocades and admiration from the rest of us!!
OK, I grant you, this is a cool bass, but $15,999.. come on!

It is now June, 2011 and the asking price is below $7K. Any one have any info on this bass?

he's willing to part for 6,000. I doubt he'll go below that considering 6k is a fair price. Maybe 5500 lowest

I think it would be a tough bass to play for must of us at 36" scale.blankrider wrote:he's willing to part for 6,000. I doubt he'll go below that considering 6k is a fair price. Maybe 5500 lowest

That's exactly it, IMO.slybass3000 wrote:I think it would be a tough bass to play for most of us at 36" scale.
First you have to find a guy who likes booteeky cofee table basses...
Then that guy also has to have $6K laying around to spend on a USED bass...
Then he has to like 6 strings...
Then he has to like 36" scale...
THEN he also has to be a lefty.
That's one rare frikkin' breed right there.
