They used the current description of the Standard P Bass. I am pretty sure 99% it is not an Alder body. The Alder has been used on the Standard serie after 2004. It has to be Poplar or Basswood. In my opinion, a Squier with an Agatis body sound better than a bass with a Poplar or Basswood body.
