new hand-made rasps arrived at my doorstep this week! I've been wanting to upgrade from my home Depot $5 special for ages, as it leaves considerable chatter marks 80% of the time I use it. word from fellow builders is that the Auriou leaves a surface that only requires minimal sanding clean-up ... and the Gramercy is reputed to be better for harder woods like Walnut and Ash
