I spoke with a customer service rep at G&L this morning and he said they plan to make the CLF L1K reissue left handed in Q1 2019.

Some of you G&L guys like Big Evil Robot and B Hunt: Have you heard any news on this?
I'd order one as soon as they're available.

I have not, but it wouldn't surprise. I've gotta talk to those guys tomorrow anyways, I'll see what they say.

I'm still waiting on an answer from them. It's been a few weeks now

Don’t know if I’d bite on a reissue but I’ve always loved these basses.
These tap both the P bass and stingray fan in me.

...that said, the sunburst model of this bass is damn sexy.

It's super handsome, and I think I like the "sweet spot" placing of the MFD pickup compared to the L1500/Kiloton bridge placement now that I've owned a Kiloton.
I guess there is such a thing as too many mids.

I'm holding out for a possible '82 SB2 / Lynx bass release. They keep teasing the idea of one.
