I guess there are some major upsides to the price of oil hitting the skids. The local Alberta Kijiji listings are filling up with gear being dumped at a rapid discounted pace.




Put about an hour of work into this guy, it needed a setup and a fresh set of strings very badly.
It's a 2011 model, the electronics were mostly ok. Just needed a quick fix to the ground wire.

Swapped the stock bridge and pickguard for a Badass II and a 3 ply black guard to bring it's style up to par

Not bad for $120 Canadian

slightly OT, but I was living in Alberta in the early '80s when the last bust happened. I remember folks were selling houses in Ft McMurray for $1 and essentially walking away from them. Let's hope it doesn't get that bad up there this time around.

And then my new G&L SB-2 arrives, so this guy is going on the ebays for quick cash to throw into that.
