This is a picture of my bass almost finished. I met Mike and Daniel Tobias at Gerald Veasleys bass boot camp in March. I was introduce to them by Andrew Gouche who I also met at BBC I was lucky enough to get a private lesson with Andrew it was a great experience. I went to The MTD shop and got to spec and choose everything on this bass (looked at many tops and fret boards) another great experience. Can't wait to play this bass :D

That's a beautiful top you got there. Mike builds some great basses.

I will be re-listing my 535/24 here and eBay shortly. It needs to get played.

Wow, what a beautiful top and color. . . I always say that my 535 was one of the best basses I've ever had, and miss it. In my case, mine was a bit heavy and I found the neck to be on the thicker side - and that combined with the 35" scale made a bit to much for me. But soundwise? Nothing sounds like an MTD. :)

@ Carlos... The older MTD basses had thicker necks. Mike's later profile is awesome. It tapers thinner at the high registry treble side and a little more meat on the bass side. The necks now are awesome and very easy to play.
