Sweet!!!
In the topsy-turvy world of heavy rock, having a good solid piece of wood in your hand is often useful...

I wish I hadn't seen these basses. Ha ha. That JB is choice!

I have been very patient, putting it out of my mind, but this morning, I made the mistake of day dreaming about it.

Then again, that's half the fun, waiting and waiting until you're about to die so that when you open the case--magic.

6 weeks have passed since I made the order. The bass could be here anytime from a few days to two months, but I expect it within the next three weeks, Covid or no. And wouldn't you know: I've been doing my best to put it in the back of my mind, and I've been good at doing so.

Now, however, I'm getting toooooo eager for it. I only remember being this excited about my kids' births. But they didn't come with a hardshell case, so....

Paulo, I'm glad I didn't write Petty's song because the lyrics would have gone, "The Waiaiaiaiaiaiai-ting is the hardest pain in the asssssss". Not quite as catchy. 8 weeks in, and now I'm fully obsessed. It could still take up to 8 more weeks. By then, I'll be too exhausted to play.

When I ordered my SB-2 in 2017 it only took them 8 weeks to get it rolling but I suppose they are pretty busy at this time of the year. Hope you get a notification from the dealer soon!

Thanks.

I’ve wanted this finish ever since I saw a Tele with it. It looked elegant. Hoping this thing will make me look a bit classier. Lol.

Steilberg and FedEx have it together--the JB is coming in tonight between 5-8pm. If FedEx delivery goes as planned, the neighbors better get ready for a late evening low B....or two....some 12 minute song for which I do nothing but hit the low B for 500 measures.
