This is my new Eastwood BV bass. Anybody else get one? It sounds like a Ric.
I always wanted a 30 1/2" scale bass.

I got one, too; early last month. Beyond a function check and a couple minutes noodling around with it, I haven't really played it,though. I'm allergic to something D'Addario uses in their final string finishing/polishing. I break out in the itchies if I play their strings for more than a few minutes. So, I never use them... Since those few minutes, I've been waiting:
- for it to acclimate to it's new home in the desert (which usually results in a little fret sprout and loose everything);
- for the strings I ordered for it to arrive (which, of course, were the one set in the order that was back-ordered); and
- for me to find the time to work on the bridge (saddles need some filing on, and a couple need to be swapped around).
Anyhow, from the little time I did spend with it? Yeah, it's pretty nice... ;)

I never really "got" what a Rick is capable of until I ran it stereo a few times in my college band. We used to call it the "Piano of Doom". You get all the bottom and all the top in total a**kicking mode.
