About a year ago I bought a 73 P Bass with an "A" and rosewood board. A great feeling neck. It too has no patent numbers under the logo. Initially I was concerned,( in mint condition) but I've been watching closely for other examples and I've seen at lease 5 or 6 maybe more in that short time.. A couple have shown up here and are owned by board members. I think one was a Mustang that was purchased by a member about six months ago. So it's not as rare for this time period as it first seemed to me. |
