I finally got this baby after 6/7 short months wait. I wasnt too keen on the finish as it was not what I requested (it kinda grew on me now) but the bass is a "hit". The Czech shop is doing some fantastic work these days on these custom basses. It's got all my requested specs and sounds fantastic.

•Blood Red Finish (more on the Darker Fiesta or Cardinal Red, hard to photograph reds correct especially with a phone camera)
•Unlined Ebony Fingerboard
•Maple Neck thru body with Alder Wings (walnut slice tone plate)
•Alex Webster Signature Thin Neck Profile
•Dual 9v Battery Compartment on the back
•EMG CS-TW Pickups (Push/Pull Single/Dual Mode)
•Aguilar OBP-3 Preamp wired 18v (aggressive)
•HipShot UltraLite Tuners Installed (not in pics yet)
- Under 10lbs on this guy. One of my lighter ones.

As some of you know I own and have owned LOTS of Spector's and gig and record only with them. They are my comfort zone. The craftsmanship in Czech is worth the dough. You wont get a POC period or excuse what something is not right. If you play hard rock or metal, these are great basses and available in lefty. The New York Shop USA basses are only available in right handed.

I am unsure how the "custom process" works on the streets but I believe it's thru a reseller.

Here's a few shots...... :)
