Thanks!

I mentioned the heavy body (maple). But the bass is 9.5#. I was comparing notes with Paulo about the Dark Lord he used to have, and that one was 14#! He says the body was very thick. Mine is fairly slim with a curved top.

I finally got curious about the origins of the Fortress One, so I took the requisite pictures and emailed Warwick. I sent the email on a Sunday night, and got a reply before 6am German time the next morning. I included the picture of all four Warwicks just for fun, and Hans himself replied with the following comment:

"You have a absolut beautifull collection of Lefthands Warwick really fantastic..."

The Fortress was originally spec'ed with a wenge fretboard and bronze frets. It must have been replaced at some point because I'm pretty sure what's on there now is ebony with very small frets. It's as nice as any of my other Warwicks, though, so I have no issue with the mod. It suits the bass well.

Lovely! 8-)
I only just now realized the Vampyre and the Infinity share the same pickup config - albeit slightly further from the bridge on the Infinity. How do they compare tonally?

I actually haven't A/B'ed them, but from memory the Vampyre is quite a bit darker. I'll have to try them out together when I get it back from Paulo. I let him borrow the Infinity, and he dropped off his streamers so I could compare them with mine:
