Canadian Genesis tribute band that's been around for a while but I only recently discovered. Anyone more familiar with them? Sébastien is a co-founder and a lefty bassist. Here he is playing, what looks like some custom lefty double neck Rick. Would love to know the story behind this one:

They are 1) incredibly awesomely talented guys 2) officially sanctioned by Peter Gabriel et. al. and most importantly of all 3) coming to my town in a few weeks and will be playing my fave genesis album in its entirety (Selling England by The Pound).

and ... I know nothing about the doubleneck, it's likely a custom one-off build made to replicate Rutherford's. I doubt it's a Ric.
and .. and ... this video has got some good shots of the doubleneck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC_mJzASdzs

Cool. Are you gonna check them out?

You may be right about that double neck not being a Rick. I believe the Ricks had the bass neck on top. In fact, 99% of all 6+ 4 double necks I've seen have the bass on top. Though Mick Rutherford's was the opposite (the only one I've seen set up like that). My preference would be the with guitar on top too.

So we went to see them last week and I was utterly blown away by how genuine these guys are. It was a time travel trip back to 1974, when I first saw them as a young lad. Like Phil Collins says, 'these guys play it better than we ever did'. Can't recommend them enuff!!!!

scroll though this FB link for a closeup view of some of the original Genesis gear used.
