Hey Y'all,

So I just came off of 6 weeks on the road in the EU with White Cowbell Oklahoma. Our very last show of the tour was in our home away from home, Amsterdam. To say that we were road weary and maybe having a little more "fun" than we normally would pre and during show would be an understatement. We were surrounded by friends that we only see a few times a year and in particularly good "spirits". (Read: DRUNK....and...stuff...)

Anyway, the other day I received a board mix of the entire show from the sound guy. (Don't worry, I wouldn't ask you to listen to the whole thing.) We didn't even know he was recording. We may have behaved ourselves a little more if we knew this but there was some pretty magical stuff in the 90 minutes. I also just found out that he has a complete multitrack recording of the whole show. This means we can actually fix the "oh my god my voice is cooked after 30 shows" vocals. So yeah. Don't judge us on the poorly executed and over powering vocals in this board mix. (Especially, my voice cracky "answers" in the call and answer near the end.) I think we can smooth those over in pro tools. ;) The best part of this song is the spacey guitar wankery after the vocals. We don't play this song often at all and we kinda did it on a lark because we were in such good moods. We had absolutely no structure worked out for the middle and ending AT ALL. It just sorta fell into place. I think it's pretty cool. Let me know what y'all think.

Here's a link to the Zappa tune:
