I posted a review and video of my Stagg bass in the Review section, but thought I'd post it up here as well. It's done with a Flip video camera, so it's OK as far as the sound goes. Hopefully I'll get something better soon to post.

That's some pretty good thumpin' for a Sunday night gig ;)

You do get drowned out here and there, even when I use the headphones. But from what I could hear, the EUB has a deep thumping tone.

How's the mwah-factor? Is it easy to dial in?

Thanks guys! I had to play through the main act's bass rig, which was a tad under powered, and, the bottom speaker was turned to the wall, so it was difficult to get enough tone and feel for it. We only played for a half-hour, so I used what was onstage. Next time, I'll bring my AccruGroove Tri112, which would have been far better in that boomy club, and I could have put it closer to the front of the stage for more focus.

I have the action low enough that if I pluck hard enough, or slide up the strings, I will get that nice Mwahhh that we all want from an upright. I've found that dialing in just the right amount of bass-boost, which is part of the on-board controls, will give me the mwahhh factor, and still get the upright sound. A bit too much however, and it sounds less like an upright, and allows the piezo to start magnifying the sound. It's really teaching me all about hand/finger control, and damping technique!
