I purchased this bass directly from Japan as many of you know and it's in mint condition for it's age, there are no blemishes at all to point to.
I decided to sale it just because I already have other P/J basses and I prefer thicker necks.
And because this was an impulse purchase... :)
Awesome P/J configuration in a Jazz Bass.
Unlike the typical Fender basses (lefty of course), this one has a satin finish neck and it feels great.
Serial number says it's a 95/97.
Strings are a fresh set of Dean Markley 45-105.
The sale includes shipping, great chance to own a Aerodyne at a much better price than every other few on sale for 1k+.
I posted this on Reverb for a bit more but for board members here I will sell it for what I have into it.
I cleaned up the bass, setup action, intonation, bridge, conditioned the fingerboard and added fresh strings.
$680 shipped to your door.
It's a stunning beauty and it plays great however I need some room in my apartment and could use the $$!

I would just like to say THANK YOU Paulo for working so much with me to make this sale a success. I know it is not easy to ship things international and you really did go the extra mile. I just want you to know it is really appreciated and makes the bass even more special.
Thanks mate from down under.

Thanks, I'm glad we where able to pull this off!
After detaching the neck from the body and cutting part of the box it was possible to get an excellent shipping price for the smaller box!
I hope you enjoy the bass!

In a case like this, especially when sold internationally, a bolt-on neck is worth its weight in Gold! :D

You're right there. Paulo had prices up to $700USD to ship it but after shrinking the package by taking off the neck he got the shipping down to just over $100 USD

$700 was the cheapest! And USPS wouldn’t even ship that size.
I then made an estimate based on the length of the neck plus a little space in between for bubble wrap, 3 feet to be exact.
DHL and fedex where over $400 and to my surprise, USPS gave me a $108 price so I went with it!
