I hate to do that, but I now have 2 Rics (great) but not the need for 2.
This beauty came from Tim and the body is in flawless condition, but the original owner did some work on the fretboard, nothing was bad but he wanted a different radius on it.
New frets where added and Steve Morrel Guitar Repair here in Boston did a nice fret leveling/crowning on it so it's in perfect shape, only without the glossy finish on the fretboard.
A little bit of the paint came off the back of the neck but you can't barely feel it when you play.
Also a great upgrade, it has a Hipshot bridge on it so you can get better adjustment, intonation and no tail lift.
This bass sounds amazing and it plays smooth... well' it's a Rickenbacker!
Sale includes the original hard case and paperwork.
Here's the original listing: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=8361
Looking to get what I had on it as it was already a great price. $1250 + shipping.
I would love to have this on the family (LB) but if no one here is interested it's gonna go to the WWW, but wanted to check here first.

The only thing missing there now is the sticker, everything else is there.
The pickup cover is currently installed.

Hey, they sell the Treble Bezel in chrome now? Looks nice. I had one of the earliest ones when I bought my 4003 in late 2009, it was matte black and without the thumb pit but with a little thumbrest.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, the chrome treble bezel and a zero mod thumb rest will also be included on the sale, it's a $70 cost for both.

That came from an artist in Brazil, he handmade it based on pictures of the bass.
