As said in the Kiesel thread, as much as I really like this bass, the money should go to a fretless 4 which is something I truly need. I like the Kiesel Vader line enough to jump on another one of those.

Great bass only a few months old. Save some cash and no wait required.

- Vader 5 lefty
- Trans red over alder
- Birdseye maple fingerboard over maple neck
- 34" scale 24 fret
- Passive soapbar pickups (V-B-T)
- Signed walnut cavity cover
- Dunlop Straploks
- Sadowsky style knobs fitted; originals included
- Fitted Kiesel rigid soft case (really nice)

A large group of photos are here:

http://littlesimy.com/schtuff/Vader5/photos_display.php

The bass was $1400 out the door so I am asking:
$1250.

Happy to ship Free within CONUS only.

According to this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlHOizbf0OM, the bass comes with 60's, or 70's pickup routing... do you know which one yours was built as?

I think that only applies to jazz pickups. I'm not sure why that is listed as these are soapbar humbuckers. If that is an option, I went with the default routing locations. I don't remember there being a choice. Thanks for the question !

Forgot to include the video in my post - it's there now... In the video, they're both playing humbuckers, but they do mention the 60's and70's option....

G&L L2500
Other narrow spaced 5's.

Sorry for missing the question. Pickups are soapbars and there was no option for routing locations when I built it. If there were, I went with whatever the default was.

Traded with the great BillW for his Sterling. It's getting a complete refin from MJT, level crown and polish from Stephen at CEG and new pickup and electronics. It should be done in about 2 months. Can't wait ! Good to be home to a Sterling again. I've always thoroughly enjoyed playing a Sterling and it's been too long.
