Hi folks,

Up for sale is my D.Lakin Bob Glaub bass.

The complete specs can be found here : http://dlakinbasses.com/tech-specs/bob- ... ech-specs/

I've upgraded the electronics with Klein Epic '62 series pickups and CTS pots.

Closest thing you'll get spec-wise from a real pre-CBS Fender. 1 5/8" body thickness and 1 3/4" nut width.

It's got some light buckle rash on the back, nothing that went through the paint and a small nick on the headstock paint.

Plays and sounds great!

Selling it to finance a LB-100

Asking 975$ USD + shipping. Comes with the D.Lakin gigbag and setup tool. Will ship in the original box.

More photos to come.

Alright... Here's a new deal.

Since the G&L comes with a hardshell case, and the one I got doesn't fit my jazz bass, I'm throwing it in the deal for a total of 900$

So 900$ + shipping including hardshell case.

That is a great color! Curious, I Googled this bass, and came across this excellent review... the Glaub is down towards the last third of the article.... great comments!

It's a great bass really. Light, resonant, great sounding.

It's just not the love story I thought it would be. The colour might be cool, but I quickly grew tired of it. I had asked for a natural headstock, not a matched colour one but the factory didn't get the memo. Too much for me.

I also miss the vintage neck radius of my old Fender P. The Lakin neck is super comfy but I just prefer a 7,25 - 7,5 radius.

I tried hard to fall in love but the chemistry is just not there between me and her. And just like women, she'll be some other bassist's dream come true.
