Need to move this along as I just havn't played it enough. Plays really smoothly, no buzzing, LOUD which is really nice.
On board preamp is awesome, with bass boost and great eq'ing.

Bass is clean, no chips, dings. I can't make out much in the way of swirls either... Just havn't had it that long.

I hope someone can enjoy this bass, I just don't have the time.

The super jumbo Takamine EG512C Acoustic-Electric Bass produces a lot of volume with super clarity and a tightly focused sjound.

Takamine EG512CG Bass has a 22-fret maple neck with rosewood fretboard (34" scale), rosewood bridge, Takamine TK-40B preamp, and chrome tuning machines. The cutaway bass guitar design offers total neck access.

Comes with a Fresh TKL hard case as shown

$400Shipped CONUS TODAY ONLY (Tuesday) No Trades thank you Also listed on TB (have feedback there as traceonbass)

I just wanted to give traceonbass some props. I bought a Warwick bass body from him off Talkbass and he had asked me if I had any interest in it. Although cool it’s not my thing so I suggested all you fine southpaws here and said it was a super great place for us guys to come to first before anywhere else. Just wanted to let you know he was a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and packed that bass body like it was going into space. Trustworthy guy if you’re thinking about buying from him.

Thanks for the props from a stand up guy himself. :)

Also I have this bass tuned 1/2 step down from standard bead in #.
And it STILL holds its tune and is as clear as day with no adjustments made.

Price is FIRM as the weight and size is going to be killer on me shipping this. The hard case is heavy duty.

$450 Shipped

Thanks

That's a fair price for sure. If I hadn't just bought a PBass and an upright, I'd jump on this. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll move it fairly quick. 8-)

:(

Always late to the party.

An acoustic/electric is one of those things that you find you don't use a whole lot, but I'd recommend everyone should have one. Strange, I know. But 99.99% of the time I practice at home, I grab the ac/el. When playing the semi-acoustic gigs, I grab the ac/el. When playing an acoustic gig (with all instruments miked), I grab the ac/el. It just sounds more "earthy" somehow (hard to explain) and visually fits much better.

Very good price, too!

Congrats!
