Darn, there are so many lefties for sale these days, but here is one more.

I have a Mike Lull V4 for sale, brand-spakin'-new, just received after waiting four months, with the following specs:

V4, fullsize Jazz body shape
Ash body, ultra light at 7.6 lb
Maple neck with birdseye maple fretboard
7-1/4" fretboard radius (special request)
Hipshot D-tuner (an option)
'70s pickup spacing (special request)
Lindy Fralin single coils with staggered pole pieces to match the radius of the fretboard
PLEK'ed frets = ultra low action, if that's what you want
Aztec gold color it's a treat to the eyes, and it changes a bit depending on the lighting, but it's a very intense gold color, more than, say, shoreline gold. This is "Goldar" gold (anybody over 40 here. . . ?)

Now for the subjective specs: it's super resonant with lots of sustain, and it balances perfectly. Nice and tight '70s type Jazz Bass sound, but still with a modern touch and consistency across the fretboard. The neck shape is one of the best I've played, not too thin, not too thick. And for those wondering about Lull quality, I'd say is on par with Sadowsky and US Lakland.

Reason for selling, if anybody wants to know: just trying to downsize, as many of us. I've always wanted a super lightweight custom Fender-type bass built to my specs, but I already have more basses than I need (as many of us do), and I don't want to sell my older Fenders.

Comes with deluxe, super plush, form-fitting hard case.

I just paid $2770 for it. I would start with a price of $2399 for forum members, shipped within the US and paypaled. International buyers welcomed. Let me know where you live so I can calculate shipping.

Nice bass.
About as nice of an eye-opener as my 1st cup of coffee. ;)

OH.

EM.

GEE.

Wow dude... sorry you have to let it go.

All I have to say is this, in case anyone wants to know: Mike Lull is probably the most underrated "Fender Style" builder going right now. I have an M5V and it constantly goes back and forth as my favorite bass of all time up against my "dream" Zon that I had built. It absolutely KILLS in every single way.

So... whoever gets this is a very, VERY lucky person.

I second this. I originally owned the Lull Chris "Addison" has and Mike's work is probably the best IMO for the Fender style basses. This is a great bass and seller. Someone snatch this if you want a quality build.

This is indeed an incredible bass, I just made the wrong decision of ordering a 4-string instead of 5-string. I want to be a 4-string player only, but I keep getting gigs that kinda force me to have a 5-string. I also got a bit of Jazz-Bass fever that got me motivated to get the V4, but I have more 4-strings than I can possibly need. Oh, the pains of G.A.S.

I forgot to mention, I'm open to trades for a 5-string that is light, right around 8.5 lb or less. After and if this sells, my goal is to order exactly the same bass but 5-string, or a Roscoe Century Standard. I had the V4 almost traded with a local player that incredibly by chance has a Lull 5-string, but he decided he needed to keep a 5-string as well. . .

Hey Addison/Grave, did I mention that I think I played your Lull before you owned it? I bought from Atlanta Bass Gallery, but returned it because I thought it was a bit too heavy, but I was blown away by the sound and playability, and that's what made me order the V4.

Anyhow, let me know if anybody has any questions.

Thanks.

Open to offers. Layaway plan available. Open to trade for a 5-string under 9 lb; fretless okay.

Holler. :)

So f***ing tempting.
Someone, please, either buy one of my basses for sale so I can afford this one, or buy this one and put me out of my misery!!

I know this is going to be tough to sell, because everybody is broke, but here is the eBay listing, in case anybody is interested.

I lowered the price. I'll do $2100 plus $50 shipping to forum members.

Thanks

Thanks, man, that's my little 18-month old girl. She loves opening my basses' cases, and when she sees the bass, she goes "Oh!" She's pretty good at pulling each string pretty hard -- I'm think she really digs Louis Johnson. . .

Love the color. *drool*

But, I decided a decade ago that I am a 5-string player (by necessity). *sigh*

And, my bass is getting near completion.

Carlos, man you're attit again! Seriously nice bass! This is a steal, but only for musicians who have some money, and that ain't me! (:

My band is playing out a lot lately, we are at Tiki in Riviera Beach this Sunday.
I saw a listing for Suenalo in PBC, but I forgot where...
Lemme know if you guys are playing up this way again, want to go.
We are playing the Square Grouper regularly now, (across from Guanabanas).

You will sell this soon, this listing won't last, it's too frikkin' gorgeous....

Hey, Ziggy. We just played at the Bamboo Room two weeks ago, but we don't have any other WPB gigs lined up in the coming months. I'll make sure to let you know!

I little video I made of the Lull:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmvrM5JFX_8

I'm bummed that it came out a bit distorted. Oh well, next time it'll watch the meter closer. And sorry for the aimless noodling.

;-)

Nice tone indeed. Mmmm, I guess I won't be too sad if this doesn't sell. I can play faster on this thing than on any other bass, for some reason. I think it's the PLEK'ed fretboard. ¡Viva la machine!
