To my knowledge, this is the ONLY case that ships with the newer left handed American Standard Fender basses from 2008 to current.

Having purchased a couple of each in the past couple years, I can say you are certainly correct here.

I'm all about good gig bags these days... :ugeek:

+1 ! I love my Mono gig bag. A tad pricey IMO, but well worth it.

Gig bags, especially some of the modern ones which are super strong (space-age polymers and all that), are the way to go for 8 out of 10 purposes these days. But the 2 things I don't trust them for are extended road trips with multiple dates, where they will be bouncing around the back of a van or a trunk for days on end, and of course checking it onto airline baggage. For that I wouldn't trust anything weaker than a SKB case like this one.

Gravesbass - I'm glad you were able to sell it!

The timing on this offering couldn't have been better! I'll fill you kats in when I receive the case, but let me say this about gravebass: I purchased a beautiful, 9.95 Roscoe SKB 5 w/ travel case a little over three-years-ago from Jim, on the bay, and the experience was very positive and I have no doubt this transaction will end in the same way.
I know someone else on this site who trades and buys from Gravebass frequently and hear nothing but good things. Thusly, I write these words before I've even received my case because past experiences and those of others show strongly that Jim is the 'real deal'. :!:
Peace to All,
B

Quick UPDATE on receipt of my SKB Fender case: As expected, the case arrived in perfect condition. I'm very, very pleased with my purchase. Jim gets top marks from this buyer on leftybassist!
To all my lefty brothers out there: Jim is no BS--he's proven that to me twice in my dealings with him. His descriptions are accurate and honest and I would truly trust what he puts up for sale and let's not jump to any false conclusions before we post, as I'm sure Jim had a bit of a headache through what should have been a painless selling process-- ;)

With all due respect, this posting is out of line. Politely asking legit questions from a seller isn't "giving headaches". I don't think anyone was impugning his integrity or honesty either.
