This stuff in particular:

I've got a '99 Squier PJ body from Paulo, and my stripper went a little nuts. Ate down to the sealer in some spots, leaving huge craters and billions of tiny little dimples. Wondering what would be the proper filler for this kinda job? I've been told wood filler, but there's really nowhere where the wood is exposed, just the sealer. Thoughts? :|

If the problem is in the sealer coat not with the wood, remove the sealer coat down to the wood and start there. Should have better results starting with a good clean well sanded and prepared wood surface either way.

Sadly, that's probably correct. So much work involved in fussing with finishes...

Thanks, guys! I've blocked most of the finish off, I figure I'm this far I may as well just sand all the way down, haha. Last thing I want is to be gigging and a chunk of Bondo falls off the front of my bass!
