Yep, it started with a simple lefty Rondo Douglas Pisces T with fuggly looking headstock:

For starters, I swapped out the stock pickup, replaced with a Seymour Duncan SCPB-2, and the most important thing; got the neck over to Ken Boudreau of Boudreau Guitars in CT USA and had the headstock re-shaped to look like a '51 P, I let him check the frets and polish, and round the corners of the fretboard overhand. I hates that straight bottom.

As soon as Ken sends me back the neck, I'll install on the body and post a pic of the final product. More to follow. Rich

Ken does incredible work. I consider myself pretty handy when it comes to general repairs and setups but Ken is the real thing and from now on, he's the only one that will touch my basses. I highly recommend him. The videos are a bit long but I think you will find them interesting. Mine is a lefty by the way.

With its alder neck, Ken's craftsmanship, upgraded pickups and a high mass bridge, I'll take this baby over a Squier anyday. Add Roto 77s and it's a sweet one. Stay tuned for a pic of the final project.....

Well here she is. Color of the body is actually more brownish. Flash does weird things. Maybe tomorrow I'll take an outdoor shot.
