New Signature Pickups from EMG

Post by NoXX »

Hi All,

I get regular email updates from EMG - mostly not that exciting to be honest, but this time they had my attention. New products for 2019 include:

David Ellefson signature set:

Frank Bello signature set:

http://www.emgpickups.com/bass/signatur ... b-set.html

Tom Araya signature set:

Now that's a LOT of metal bass action :D
In the topsy-turvy world of heavy rock, having a good solid piece of wood in your hand is often useful...

I frickin' LOVE the EMG Geezer Butler Signature P/U's. I've got them in a couple of basses now. And they ain't even active.

Sometimes I think, maybe I'm lucky I'm left handed. If I could play any bass I wanted, my collection would REALLY be out of control.

I find it interesting that EMG would release a Tom Araya signature pickup set during Slayer's final tour.
