Have some best friends, husband and wife, who have vacationed there several time in the last ten years, and would love to retire there... they vacationed in a small coastal village, and loved it... told me a story of getting delayed on arrival to the town they had traveled to, literally everything was shuttered up, and their hotel rental wasn't available until the following day. A kindly citizen saw them standing in the dark, looking out-of-place, and asked them if they needed help. Long story short, that citizen took them in for the night, fed them, gave them a room to sleep in, and took them to their hotel the following day. They became fast friends, and were shown all the best sites, and eateries by that person... great story!
