Rock on!

I love the Tiny Desk concerts. Favorites are Tedeschi Trucks and Booker T. Many other good ones, also, but I replay those two a lot.

I am always annoyed by people who complain about the lack of great and innovative contemporary music - Those who lament "it was much better before blablabla" - They definitely don't listen to the Tiny Desk. You'll find of a lot of exciting musicians and bands if you know where to find them and if you keep an open mind.

totally off topic brag ...
We have front row tix for Tedeschi Trucks. Dead center between Derek and Susan. And within spittin' distance of Timothy Lefebvre :-) . Strike one more off the bucket list!

Excellent show. I don't listen to it enough but I did discover one of my favorite new bands on it, The Family Crest. Amazing musicians:

Love the Tiny Desk.

Another way I find new music is through Amoeba's "What's In My Bag?" series on YouTube.

I also have access to a great library, and while watching those Amoeba videos, I'll search the library's catalog online, fill up my request list with CDs, and go check them out the next day.
