This could be beneficial for new players/students. Nicely made, easy to apply.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bass-Guitar-Fre ... xy--NRpJlq

He also has labels for guitars, ukuleles, and pianos, which I'm interested in.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/PIANO-KEYBOARD- ... SwirZTusoy

I know I am old, and I fully agree theses stickers are a great learning tool however how much easier can it get. If you think about all the tools out there now with Songsterr, Youtube lessons, MP3's for instant playback. I feel it makes tuning your bass to the same pitch as your turntable to learn songs look like rubbing two sticks together for Fire.

I was in a music store with my daughter the other day and I saw the Mel Bay Book for Introductory Bass. Outside of an updated cover this is the same book I used in the mid 70's. This was a great book and was my first start.

That's an interesting approach. Anything that helps you know the instrument is a good thing. I wouldn't teach my students shit until they at least knew the fingerboard. :geek:

We should all strive to live in a world without labels.

This is the cover of my first Mel Bay book.

The book taught me about bass. The cover taught me about stage attire and presence.

:D
