Hi everybody, making a return after a period of inactivity, (nothing personal by the way)
Just thought id like to share my news, ive finally realised a long held ambition and bought a Rickenbacker!
Its a year 2000 4003 in mapleglo and its gorgeous, its in great condition, nice to play and sings like a bird.
Ill get pics on as soon as i can figure how to get them below the required size as im better on the bass than i am on computers!

Don't know if I ever seen you here (I've been annoying people here for a couple of years only) but welcome back!
That's a beautiful Rick btw!

Yes! I love me some Rickenbacker goodness! Don't be afraid to experiment with the stereo output! That unleashes the real potential of a Rick! I only use the stereo output. I actually removed the mono jack from my V63 and had a stereo jack put in it. Also, I had an Aceonbass wiring harness put in. That also notably improved the tone!

Rock on!

Welcome back Leftysteve... as regards to posting pics - sign up on a photo sharing site such as Photoshop, Imgur, Flickr etc... That way, you post a link to the pic, and they can be much bigger, with better detail...

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, I've been away for about 4 years as not much was happening on the bass front and work got in the way, but buying the Ric should change that!
Superheavydeathmetal, ive been trying stereo ond WOW! You get all the clarity and clank you could want, can soak it with effects but still maintain a good solid bottom end.
Glad you like the Ric
Cheers
Steve
