I'm going there next week. I'm looking for recommendations for bass stores, record shops, museums, things to see, etc., if you have any.

I'll be in the Sao Paulo to Porto Alegre southern region.

Not sure about lefty basses there but I'm familiar with some luthiers there that build some astonishing instruments.
I've never been to Porto Alegre but heard it is an awesome place.
I'll be happy to look up a few things there for you!
I'll PM you a few links when I get a chance!
