I'm so glad there's at least 1 gig a year I can bring out the Steinberger XL2:

Ha! Awesome! I have a Hohner B2A that I bring with me when I travel for work. I always thought it would be perfect to use in an 80s techno-rock cover band, a la Devo or The Sisters of Mercy.

Also, I see you have one of those strap boomerangs. Strap adapters for these basses are way too hard to find, if you ask me. An extended strap hook would be really easy to make with the right components and tools, which I do not have. I also thought about making some to sell.

A strap extender would be awesome. I had to punch a new hole in my strap to get the bass to hang high enough and that resulted in feeling like I was entangled by a boa constrictor all night.

On Halloween I did a gig where all bands performed a tribute set, below is our set of The Clash, the other bands did tributes to The Misfits and The Ramones. Quality of video is poor due to lighting but the audio is good.

Sounds good! Played in a band that did several Clash songs (including London Calling...) - good fun! I think the Rock has gone out of your crowd though - they look a bit sedate in their old age! :D
