There are tons of amazing lefties throughout history, so who's your "favorite" lefty of all time? I think mine is probably Hendrix... your thoughts?

I thought about saying McCartney, but Obama hasn't been in charge long enough for me to decide on him... I like him quite a bit in theory. There's tons of others, but it wouldn't be much fun for me to just list a bunch of lefties who I think are awesome. So I'll let everyone else chime in instead.

I think lefties are pretty well-represented in all fields, with some of the greatest icons in history:

Music: McCartney, Hendrix, Mozart, Beethoven
Film: Charlie Chaplin, Harpo Marx, W.C. Fields, Robert DeNiro
Baseball: Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Jerry Koosman (Can't help it, I'm a longtime Met fan ;) + hundreds more
Art: Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo , Raphael , Pablo Picasso , Rembrandt
Literature: Mark Twain, H.G. Wells, Lewis Carrol
Politics: Thomas Jefferson, Napoleon, Benjamin Franklin, Julius Caesar (not sure how they know this)

of the many many out there, my heros are Jeff Schmidt and Jim Haslip for playing inverted. on the guitar is Man Kidal for playing every Malmsteen song I ever liked but lefty-inverted :)

hey Matt is your band a band still, and if so are you playing anywhere close so I can come watch?
if no more band and your health is back to normal and you didn't break any more bones, give me a shout. We still need a lefty guitarplayer to make it a perfect triangle on stage :)
