Our resident lefty Josh Newton has a very nice résumé. :)

Wait a minute... I checked out his resume and see that he was with Glazed Baby. Josh - did you play guitar for them? I have the 1986 Fender Japan tele in candy apple red from you guys. The case says "Glazed Baby #4." I bought it from the London Music guitar shop in Seattle in about 1994ish. They said Glazed Baby came through on tour and unloaded the guitar for some extra cash. Do I have your old guitar?!?!

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned one of my personal favorites - Keith Horne. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_rUH7YgwpE
... at 2:20 is where he rips it up! Here's another of him goofing around and ripping it up, wearing some fake teeth... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7LBx6nDaeQM

Does anyone know Josh's username so I can PM him? It wasn't obvious when I looked at the Members list. Thanks.

How bout Joe Long from the Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons, remember back in the day (40-50's) if you went to Catholic school the nuns would not allow you to write left handed so there were not many left handed players in the 50's and early 60's. Joe is one of the first Leftys beside Sir Paul that I seen that was left handed.

It was noted that Jimi Hendrix's father wanted him to play right handed, Jimi had to learn to play left handed when his father was not around. It was not easy being left handed back in the day.

I went to Catholic school in the '60's. Yes they tried right there in 1st grade to make me switch. BUT, my father was a left handed house framer. He came in after working in the sun all day, burly, tan, weather beaten, with a hammer holster (on his left hip) and a Stanley knife on his belt, with a scowl that could make a nun step back and think twice. She did. I did learn to write making the proper slant they wanted, but it was still left handed.
