Other than the obvious sir Paul, I can onl recall a few. The dudes from necrophagist and beyond creation whose names are eluding me at the moment, Paul gray, and the bassist from the kings x.. Can you recall any others?

Then there's also peter steele who was originally a lefty but then learned righty and stuck with that

Stefan fimmers was the necrophagist bassist whose name I could not recall. I did not know foreigner had a lefty bassist until today! RIP Ed.
Dominic Lapointe was the beyond creation bassist who I could not recall the name of. He plays a six string fretless incredibly.

I think it's legit to mention Jimi Hendrix. He did a lot of the bass tracks on the records.

Come on. Guys? You're missing one of the most important lefty bassists of them all. The one and only Colin Grigson (aka Rik Mayall) from the greatest fake British metal band of forever. BAD NEWS!

How bout Joe Long from the Frankie Valley and the Four Seasons, remember back in the day (40-50's) if you went to Catholic school the nuns would not allow you to write left handed so there were not many left handed players in the 50's and early 60's. Joe is one of the first Leftys beside Sir Paul that I seen that was left handed.

It was noted that Jimi Hendrix's father wanted him to play right handed, Jimi had to learn to play left handed when his father was not around. It was not easy being left handed back in the day.

Chris Chew from the Mississippi All Stars. And I second Matt's inclusion of Hendrix. Great bass lines.
