that is FAKE!!!

The black girl only played the tambourines in the cartoon, even when they did their "guest spots" on Scooby-doo.

I didn't mean the comic was fake, I meant that in the 70's cartoon she only played the tambourines so why portray her as a guitar player now...

show me a youtube clip of the old cartoon of her playing anything besides the tambourines...make sure you sift thru the scooby-doo cartoons and the archies cartoons since Hanna-Barbara used the pussycats in a bunch of different episodes.

I think they made her a lefty in the coverpage because it saved on space for the amount of room to create the picture

Ha! For sure. Also her guitar and Archie's create a nice arched highlight for their kid up front.

Case in point - tambourines only... Pussycats Theme Song... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEdWvYA0icg

The only thing hotter than Val is that purple and white finish on her bass. I love that finished fretboard... Did she do a tour playing bass for Prince a couple years back? Oh wait, that was Rhonda Smith wasn't it? :P

I don't recall these girls looking so... fit when I was young. But there does seem to be something wrong with Josie's legs and how they attach to her body behind that (possibly) Les Paul Junior with the inverted pickguard.

and, did you notice the different tail position in the pic of her kissing Archie compared to the larger one?

looks like some inter-race smooching is turning her on maybe?

funny, I never considered Archie to be a "toe-curler" so to speak. Neither did my wife ...
