Nice!.... on a random note, David Ellefson is also on Hartke now after he wrapped-up his stint with Peavy and went back to Megadeth. Both he and Jaco make me want to practice :)

man i started learning chromatic fantasy about 6 months ago after about 9 measures i had to stop, such grace and lyricsysim (spelling?) at an absurd speed.....i think when i get home from work today im gonna pick it back up (its gonna be the first time in 3 weeks ive sat down and practiced...i wonder how that will go :D )

Over 20 years of playing and I still haven't figured out all of the harmonics in Portrait of Tracy. :lol:

Yeah, Jaco was pretty good, and undoubtedly the biggest influence on my young formative years. I used to see him live fairly often in NYC (Blue Note, 7th Ave. South), and even got to do a gig with him once. But that's another story I've told once too often... :(
