It's funny, after almost 25 years of playing lefty, It's only recently that I realized why the Fender logo on the headstock my basses never looked as cool as the one apposed onto the right handed models. Obviously, the logo on a lefty is read from the tip of the headstock toward the neck but was designed to be read from the neck toward the tip thus following the headstock's outline.
Musicman did a much better job adjusting their logo to the lefty headstocks. I think we all agree that Musicman is a much more lefty-friendly company anyway.

I confess to having spent significant time working with lefty/righty versions of my logo to match my headstock, with the intent of having a logo that looked identical no matter the headstock to the casual eye. After many versions I ended up finding it necessary to have four different logos (and four different negative proof sheets), each being specific to a lefty/righty 4/5 version of my headstock.

thankfully the finish shop hasn't mixed any up yet when they apply the logo under the finish coat

Most of my Fenders just say "FENDER" on the decal. They cut off the full decal with the model name etc so the logo can be centered I guess.
