Saturday was the annual Austin Music Awards, here's the top 10 for bass guitarist. Out of the 6000+/- bass players in this town, I'll take 10th!

congrats! forget about 10th place as bassist, you got voted best cover band and since bass is the back bone of a musical group i think you can take the lions share of the credit for that, again CONGRATS! :mrgreen:

Congrats brother that is awesome. I am always blown away by the level of musician here on this site. Given the number of players on this board there really is an amazing amount of professional and just all around accomplished players. Not just music store cowboys who noodle around real snazzy on YouTube but real players that are in acclaimed bands of all different styles and on TV and published etc....I am in fine company here!

Awesome! And to be in the top 10 with the likes of Jo Jo Garza of Los Lonely boys is quite an accolade. But, I think being the Number 1 Cover Band is really what it's all about. And I agree with frankenjazz... well done!
