That’s a 1988 bass- NOT a 1973 as listed.

It would be a 4001S - or even a 4003S surely?
I always wonder when I see the pickup cover/rest fitted like that - was it deliberate preference or the all too easy mistake of putting it back wrong? I tried it on my 4001 and it just looked wrong sitting high up like that.
