Oooh, this one is an "electric" bass. Exciting!

Not a big fan of the shape of these basses, but the quilted Maple body, combined with the Wenge Neck, makes it a sexy beast! :)

I'm not a big fan of quilted Maple bodies but I like the neck a lot.
Still I think it's overpriced for a bass being sold in a pawn shop... :?

Wait 'till you see what these cost new at the moment :P
These are around 3000 euros here, near the source, so I can only imagine what they must cost overseas. 10 years ago these could be bought new for half of what they cost now. That's why used prices were a lot lower for a long time. My LX5 cost me 500 used, which was an absolute steal.

Yup. I got my Corvette for $500. UpFront now has it on sale for $999. I only had it for two or three years.

Meanwhile I've been pricing a Star Bass and ouch!

That is actually a very nice bass I would think. The flame on that body is very high grade. I love the Streamer body shape, super comfortable and ergonomic, but the NT in the Streamer Stage 1 is far preferable to the bolt-on... IMHO. That being said, that's probably a great sounding bass. I would guess focussed and tight with some good snap from the maple body and growl from the wenge neck.

I have a very similar bass for sale. Basically same thing but a '99 and honey colored. If anyone is serious about wanting one of these contact me and I'll work with you on price. I'd like to see it go to a good home.
