Wow, Nice Find! You don't see many 70's Fender P basses with Rosewood necks and 74 may be right before the Boat Anchor era.

Slightly off-topic, but I wonder if anyone's actually used a 70's Fender bass to anchor their boat.

I have never seen a natural finish P bass with a rosewood fretboard and tortoise pickguard from the factory, righty or lefty. This bass is likely stripped of its finish, replaced pickguard, etc.
