This guy has been advertising these basses for quite some time on basschat.co.uk as well. I love both Laklands, and IIRC both of these have belonged to a board member here? Especially the trans blackburst rings a bell. I think it was either Chris (Addison), Thumbslam or Gravesbass.

Great prices on both of those Lakland's... always wanted one, since the first time I saw the Doobie Brothers bass player using one at an outdoor concert here in Hawaii, way back in 2000....

That blackburst one is really tempting, if it's really priced at 1100 pounds. I've been pondering if I have anything to sell to make room and finance it, but I can't think of any bass or guitar I'm willing to part with... Except maybe my Esh Stinger... :x

I am aware of that. And it is a tremendously cool bass, with a punch like no other! So I don't really want to.
