Well, I can make the trip up probably next weekend and report back with my thoughts, if anyone is interested, although I am no expert bass reviewer.

I wish this bass still had the stock pickups so I could compare it with my MJ-4 because I actually wanted a passive J-bass with true single coils, but G&L didn't offer the JB-2 in lefty until right after I spent a ton of money on my MJ-4 :roll: which is an active bass with "bi-coil" jazz pickups. Oh, well. My guess is that there won't be very much difference, really.
