Yeah, I've been talking to them for over a week trying to get the funds together. Apparently, the fingerboard needs some work. However, somebody please buy my Carvin!

I'm curious - in this picture, what is the cut-out in the cavity cover for... spare battery? Doesn't make sense...

Beautiful. I wish this was either fretted or finished in Arctic Night... a lefty MVP in Arctic Night is my dream, and I'd be happy to send it to Pedulla for one of those mods but both is a bit much.

The search continues.

It looks like the cut-out might fit over the preamp module on the side of the cavity. Maybe the module pokes up out of the cavity high enough that they needed to cut some extra space in the cover for it to fit.

It could have been for a different module, as the one in this pic appears to be even with the lip...

Hoo boy... come on boat deal... LOL

Wonder what weirdness transpired there. I think I'll call them.

Mind you, I wonder if it got returned to them because the fingerboard needs refinishing. I did talk to somebody at the store and I asked him to run his fingers up and down the fingerboard and tell me if he could feel the lines... he could.
