I like it! Not a bad price, either considering what the previous owner must have sunk into it.

Wow, they did a great job in the description however the color does not look surf green to me but it could be the lighting and the camera, non the less for all the work that is an amazing price.

That’s a pretty cool look for that bass.

I think Yolly had one like it, but I thought it was a USA. Could be wrong, though.

Yes it was indeed mine, and in better condition than claimed in the ad...

I did post here if I remember well and indeed put quite a lot of money into it, considering all the changes. I was a bit disappointed in the selling price as it went with one offer on eBay for starting price of $400 and free shipping (even though I had some 20 followers). The paint alone - done by guitarpaintguys - was more than $200 with the head stock painting. Add the tuners and the US GL neck, I think all-in-all this Tribute cost me some $600.00-700.00. What "saved" me a bit was the fact that I had bought the Tribute in perfect condition, second hand for $300.00.

Do not remember exactly the name of the color, but I think it was Classic Car green...

Not my best sale nevertheless :)

Hey Yolly ! It's currently with me now and had even more extensive work done to it. Plays very well after a level, crown and polish and a remount to the body. The brass saddles also add to increased tone. I just wish I had more time to play it these days. It needs a good home.

Too bad you do not have the time to play it, it is a great bass! Best of luck with the sale...
