What is the 5er in the middle? Looks like an Ibanez, but I don't think so.

The same question has been driving me nuts! It has a quirky headstock logo I just can’t place.

Looks a lot like an early Cort Artisan B5, with those off-center dots and the pearloid bar at the 24th fret (which would read "Artisan"). The one in my example has a one-piece wenge neck and wenge fingerboard, whereas the one in the ad has a 5-piece wenge and maple neck, but Cort has been known to change this once in a while. They did on the later, more curvy Artisan models as well.

Nice one Jeroen! I knew I’d seen it somewhere, but I couldn’t find it to save my life

Thank you Jeroen. I googled Cort Artisan series, and it opened up a whole new door to me. Cort has some sick basses in the artisan series! And the new ones have MK1 pups, which I prefer to the emg 45 size. Markbass preamps, hipshot tuners, 5 piece wenge necks... damn thats a lot of nice specs!

Anyone have any experience with these? How are the neck profiles? Reminds me of Ibanez SR but with nicer features? I wonder if that singlecut is available lefty?

It's a Samick fretless 5. This is from the seller's earlier post.

That makes sense. I think they're made at the same factory as Cort.

So a very similar Yamaha and the Fretless 5 just showed up at the same GC in Tulsa.... probably not a coincidence...
