Just saw that one too! I'm sooo tempted at this moment. Anyone experience with the '57 RI's from 2008? I'd only replace the pickguard with s full black one and I'd be set for a while... |

I had a maple P neck like this from around that time. Felt nice, but definitely had that fat ass profile like a late 50s Precision. If you are into bigger neck profiles, you’d probably like it. |

I had one from around this time too in tobacco burst with maple neck. I put on a gold anodised guard. Neck was very wide but fast to play. Only moved it on to fund a medium scale version. Great bass. |

I actually prefer a fatter neck on a P bass. Do any of the MIJ Ps come with a fat rosewood neck? |

I am currently selling a MIJ 57 reissue (White with Gold Pickguard) and sold a board member a MIJ from 98. They are great basses, they comments on the neck from board members are spot on. They do play really fast and really have a nice shine to them. |
