I wonder... It has side dots on both sides of the fingerboard, and the entire bass looks perfectly symmetrical save for that huge pickguard. Would be interesting to see what's underneath.

Wow indeed. :o We were just talking about these in another thread a few weeks ago. I've only seen one other, and it may even be this one.

Here's Bruce Johnson's informative page on the history of these oddities. It's interesting that he notes that the necks on these were specific to the Devil bass and not just the same one used for the AMB-1:

That thread and this link to Bruce's site is the only reason I knew how rare it it was.
