Just a heads up in case anyone spotted this bass and thought the price was too good to be true. It is. I bought this bass from GC's used section (it was located in Florida) and returned the bass to my nearby NJ location. Long story short: It's a parts bass. The neck is an Am Std P bass, NOT a Pro neck/'63 profile. I took it off the bass to confirm as well. Manufacture date is Jan 2016, while body date is Jan. 2017. I'm guessing somebody really wanted the '63 P bass neck bad (that's the only reason I'm looking for a Pro bass), and swapped an Am Std neck for it and then returned the bass to GC and played dumb. :x

And naturally they're offering no disclaimer either, just re-listing it as a Pro bass.

The neck on the GC photo says Corona, CA, not made in USA.
Are you saying the guy even added the waterslide decal to it or GC is using a different photo?

The minute I pulled the bass out of the box and felt the neck, I knew it wasn't a Pro neck. It felt exactly like my Am Std. Plus, the Pros were not introduced until the end of 2016. There's no way Fender would make a lefty Pro neck in Jan. 2016 - 11 months before the line was even introduced - and wait a full year to marry it to a 2017 Pro body. (This ain't 1973, you know, when lefty necks would sit around for years; Lefties are readily available today). But there is something fishy about the serial #. I noticed perforated marks all around it. If you look very closely at the back of the neck pix, you can see them. Not sure what that means though.
